Netflix Series that are ending or have ended this 2019

Netflix has saved some of our favorite shows like Lucifer and You.  However, in the last two years they have also cancelled or aired/will be airing the last season of a few shows we've also grown to like.

We've rounded up some of the shows which Netflix cancelled and or is in their last season.

Designated Survivor

After 2 seasons, ABC cancelled the show that starred Kiefer Sutherland.  After wrapping up the third season though, the streaming platform giant has also decided to cancel the show.  Although, all episodes will be staying on Netflix despite the cancellation.

Orange Is The New Black

Now with Piper out in the real world again, the show is about to come to its close with its last season that started airing last July 26.

Lucifer

While Netflix did save the show back in 2018, it has been announced that Season 5 will be the last and final season.  Fans were quick to answer back and demand for it to continue, but the showrunners decided to answer them via a twitter post:

Oh well at least we get to see Tom Ellis' handsome face and abs one last time and not to mention the additional 6 episodes that Netflix ordered! Luci's surely going out with a bang with 16 episodes!

A Series of Unfortunate Events & Santa Clarita Diet

The Neil Patrick Harris headlined show ended with season 3 while the Drew Barrymore show was cancelled after Season 3.  While the first show had a pre-planned goodbye, the latter was a complete opposite with a weird cliffhanger which will never get to solve or understand.

The streaming platform also cancelled 2 Marvel Shows, The Punisher & Jessica Jones at the start of the year, but this is probably because the Marvel - Netflix partnership has already ended alongside the launch of Disney+ which will now house new Marvel Series. Oh well, business is still business.
